Title: Medical imaging from a computational perspective

Abstract:
The purpose of this talk is to convey the importance of the computational sciences for medical imaging. We will start with 4D cone-beam CT, then cardiac cine MRI and diffusion-weighted MRI, and finally the multi-modality optical imaging, i.e., photoacoustic imaging and photomagnetic imaging.
