主要从事超快电子衍射领域中超短电子脉冲控制,光致相变和超快结构动力学研究。在超短电子脉冲控制方向,对阿秒电子脉冲压缩,同步抖动校正,库伦相互作用等前沿问题开展了系统性研究,拓展超快电子衍射技术的研究边界;在光致结构相变和超快晶体结构动力学方向,利用超快电子衍射技术,对普适的光致相变机制和关联体系中不同自由度间的超快结构动力学开展了系统性研究。


主持国家自然科学基金青年基金等项目。
