蔡子,2005年毕业于武汉大学物理科学与技术学院,2010年于中国科学院物理研究所凝聚态理论专业取得博士学位。先后在美国加州大学圣迭戈分校,德国慕尼黑大学,奥地利科学院量子光学与量子信息研究所从事博士后工作。 2016年9月加入上海交通大学物理与天文系任特别研究员,博士生导师。主要从事凝聚态物理以及相关领域的数值计算和理论方面的工作,先后入选中组部第十四批“国家海外高层次青年人才“,上海市”国家高层次人才计划“。 主要研究领域涉及强关联电子系统,光晶格中的超冷原子,开放量子多体系统,非平衡统计物理,机器学习方法在物理学中的应用等方向。发展并推广了多种量子多体计算方法,如量子蒙特卡洛与密度矩阵重整化群方法,并将其应用到凝聚态物理与原子分子物理,量子光学,开放量子系统,机器学习与人工智能等前沿学科的交叉领域,拓宽了量子多体物理的研究范畴, 近年来发表括1篇Science、12篇 Phys.Rev.Lett.、26篇Phys.Rev系列、一篇综述在内的SCI收录论文四十余篇。
